Who We Are
Who We are: The Jane LeBlanc Legacy Fund is an incorporated, non-profit, multidisciplinary arts organization established to advance public education and learning in the creative and performing arts.
What We Do: The Jane LeBlanc Legacy Fund advances public education in the creative and performing arts by delivering structured educational programs, workshops, mentorship, and publicly accessible learning initiatives. Our work increases access to arts education, fosters creative learning, and benefits the broader community.
Purposes
1. Advancement of Education
To advance education by developing, organizing, and delivering structured educational programs in the creative and performing arts, including workshops, mentorship, presentations, and learning resources, for the benefit of the public.
2. Public Education and Appreciation of the Arts
To advance public education and appreciation of the arts by producing and presenting publicly accessible educational events, talks, demonstrations, presentations, and educationally contextualized artistic works that contribute to increased public understanding of artistic practices and cultural expression.
3. Increased Access to Education for Underserved Communities
To relieve conditions associated with social exclusion by increasing access to arts education and creative learning opportunities for individuals from underserved or equity-seeking communities, including by reducing financial, social, or structural barriers to participation in publicly accessible educational programming.
