Nominated for a Grammy for Best Male Vocal, winner of a Grammy (as co-producer of “Seduces Me” on Celine Dion’s 32 plus million-selling “Falling Into You” album), winner of five Juno Awards (Canadian equivalent to the Grammy), the Harold Moon Award (Canadian Lifetime Song writing Achievement Award) and inducted into the venerated Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame Award (2021), Dan is an international music industry legend.

Lar Collicott from Fredericton, NB is a technology leader and software observability champion by day, but when the sun goes down he is a genre writer and filmmaker. His short films reflect his love of stories about revenge, monsters and villains which all live around us and, sometimes inside us. In Lar's world the bad guys aren't always bad and the good guys aren't always good, but the monsters are always a little real.

Matt Rogers is a co-owner of the production company, Frictive Pictures, Inc. With his partners he has produced eleven short films and seven short documentaries. In 2019, with funding from Telefilm Canada and provincial arts grants. Since 2013 Matt has produced over 60 short educational documentaries with various organizations. Matt is also an Associate Professor in the UNB Faculty of Education. His research focuses on participatory arts-based methodologies and documentary filmmaking inquiry.

Jeremy Brubacher's love of filmmaking started at a young age with him often making short films with his younger brothers. Jeremy took his love of film with him to university, majoring in Media Arts and Culture with a minor in Film Production. At that time, he also participated in the 48 Hour Film Competition regularly. With his honed skills in directing, cinematography, and editing, Jeremy has worked on productions in the wider New Brunswick film community and produced his own films, with many of them being showcased at the annual Silver Wave Film Festival. Currently, Jeremy is working on his first feature film script.

Terry Gadsden is a film composer and filmmaker. Terry has composed tracks for television commercials and he is also a stock music composer, mainly for deWolfe Ltd. in London, England, and a few other production library companies. Credits: How I Met Your Mother, Sesame Street, Masterpiece Theatre, Saturday Night Live, Hell On Wheels, and feature films like Brokeback Mountain, Charlie’s Angels-Full Throttle, etc. Terry was an editor for many years in Toronto and was a staff film editor for the BBC in London, England; location work worldwide, in a variety of functions. Terry’s name is on many awards as a film editor, including an EMMY nomination, several CLIOs (the American advertising awards), and BESSIES (the Canadian television advertising awards.)

Jan Miller is an international consultant and trainer specializing in film, animation, and music. She presents one of the world’s top Pitching & Content Development Workshops to help creatives pitch their creative projects with confidence. Her unique brand of training has been presented across Canada from TIFF and the Academy to Yellowknife and Newfoundland for major festivals and Film Co-ops. Globally her workshops have been featured at Berlin’s Talent Campus, Cuba’s Escuela Internacional de Cine y TV, Poland’s ScriptEast, Australia’s AttaGirl, Cannes, China, and Iran.

Donovan Richard's affiliation with the NB Film Co-op has been a continuous learning experience. He has incredible connections with most of the New Brunswick filmmakers and artists as well as ongoing opportunities to volunteer and network on productions which have continued to shape him as a filmmaker. Donovan is past president of the NB Film Co-op, and is a current board director. Support for New Brunswick artists is vital to him.

Brigitte Noel graduated from the Business and Technology Training Institute with a Digital Media Design and Production Diploma. She also took an IT Specialist Course at Eastern College. Brigitte is past Vice President of the NB Film Co-op and received an Unsung Hero Award from the City of Fredericton in 2002 and a Silver Wave Film Festival Volunteer Award in 2005. Brigitte is a trained picture editor and received a Short Film Venture in 2020. Brigitte is also a talented wild life photographer.

Wendy has 40+ years experience as a trainer, consultant, evaluator, and mediator. She has worked with over 300 non-profits in areas ranging from governance and strategic planning to training, human resource management, and evaluation. Wendy is also a certified mediator and trainer in Interest-based Negotiation and Facilitation. She spent 10 years as a senior faculty member of UPEI’s Centre for Life-Long Learning where she specialized in conflict resolution for the not-for-profit sector. 

Trained at the Canadian Screen Training Centre in directing, Danny obtained an NBFC Film and Television Certificate as well as a Short Film Venture grant, a CBC321 award, and an IndieCan10K award recipient.  He has written and directed a number of award winning short comedies and dramas. Some of his most successful projects are Délivrance, which was acquired by CBC Television and Société Radio Canada Acadie. The Bannisters, produced with the support of CBC-Telefilm 3-2-1 award, and Owl River Runners, a NB feature film produced for IndieCan Entertainment.

Honoured with the Queen's Silver Jubilee Medal for her work with Emerging Artists in New Brunswick, Ingrid Mueller has been an advocate and trendsetter for the visual arts in this province since arriving here from Europe with her family in 1997. Ingrid holds an Hon B.A. from Trent University and a teaching degree.  She is a published author in both English and German, a translator, and, more importantly, has curated large exhibitions, art fairs, international artist exchanges, and promoted Atlantic Canadian Art internationally. Ingrid currently lives in St. Andrews, where she continues her work as an art consultant, writer, coach, and teacher.

Angela Birdsell is a singer, conductor, educator, producer, and arts administrator who has worked across Canada and in Australia.  She is currently the Executive Director of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra and sits on the Board of the National Arts Centre. Her New Brunswick community remains close to her heart, along with her connection to the important work of New Brunswick artists and organizations.

An award winning artist, visual arts educator and arts advocate, Ann Manuel has worked for over 30 years in communities across North America, UK, Europe, Asia and the USA. Manuel has taught Visual Arts at all levels from high school to college and has served on the Boards of various arts organizations as well as with numerous committees in public galleries and artist run centers. Manuel’s multi media practice revolves around the themes of physical geography, relationships, identity and spirituality. Ann Manuel holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Mount Allison University), a B.Ed (Queen’s University) and a MA (University of British Columbia). Manuel currently lives in Fredericton, N.B. where she maintains a full time studio practice.

Gary Belding is a lifelong resident of Fredericton, New Brunswick. His contributions as an actor, producer, and production accountant on numerous short and feature films have left an indelible mark. As a member of the NB Film Co-op and the former Lead of the Actors Helping Actors, Fredericton, Gary has been fostering artistic growth in our community for many years.

Fredericton Realtor Wendy Hallihan was honoured by the New Brunswick Real Estate Association as a 2020/2021 Dave Hawkins Award recipient. Hallihan, a Realtor of 27 years and member of the Exit Realty Advantage team, has served on committees with The Real Estate Board of the Fredericton Area, including holding the position of president in 2012 and 2013, and served on the Board of Directors of NBREA. She has a passion for speaking for those without a voice through her work with the Oromocto and area SPCA, Carleton County Animal Shelter, DunRoamin Stray & Rescue, Fredericton SPCA and A Dozen Roses. She and her best friend co-founded Mission PAWSible in 2017 and together with a great team, they fight for the welfare of all animals. She is a strong and a passionate advocate for animal rights.

Nancy Bauer is a Canadian writer and editor who writes for many Canadian maritime magazines about people who write, produce crafts, and create visual art. Born in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, the daughter of Grace Bridgeford and Wendell Luke, Bauer received her B.A. in English from Mount Holyoke College in 1956. She moved to Fredericton, New Brunswick, in 1965. From 1967 until 1983, Bauer was the publisher of 25 New Brunswick Chapbooks. She founded the Maritime Writers Workshop and has served as writer-in-residence at the University of New Brunswick, the Cape Cod Writers Conference, East Word One, and Bemidji State University.

Atlantic based cinematographer Becky Parsons is also a fine art photographer (Kodak Achievement Award) and nominated director. Becky is a graduate of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and has 20+ years experience in the photographic and motion picture arts. As an emerging producer Becky, with her production company, No Fear Films, is in development with co-producer Terry Greenlaw on a feature film. Becky's fine art photography has been exhibited internationally and has entered private collections throughout Canada and the UK. Becky’s short film ‘Twig’ was nominated for best original score at the 2023 Silver Wave Film Festival where she was was also presented with the JL Jim Lavoie Professional Film Award.

Donna is a socio-cultural anthropologist at the University of Toronto. She has done research in Canada and historical Palestine. Her forthcoming book, A Bridge to Nowhere (UT Press), explores the afterlife of communities, once founded to exploit resources in the hinterland of NB. In the final two decades of the 20th century, stories and memories of the past haunt the landscape, provoking troubled relations with kin and community.

Patrick Daley is a New Brunswick teacher. Patrick works as an educational support teacher for students with hearing loss. He is employed by an interprovincial educational organization designed to provide consultative services to students, families, and schools.

Eric Megarity is a retired retail manager for Alcool New Brunswick Liquor. He is a graduate of St. Thomas University and the of the UNB Management Development Program. He has a certificate from Cornell University in Retail Management. Eric is an avid hockey player. Eric was elected to Fredericton City Council in 2008 and is now serving his fourth term in office, having been re-elected in May 2021.
